TRACY CHAMBER LAUNCHES NEW ORGANIZATION FOR YOUNG PROFESSIONALS
TRACY, CA — The Tracy Chamber of Commerce is pleased to officially announce the launch of the YOUNG PROFESSIONALS OF TRACY, a new organization committed to engaging young professionals in the local community.
The Chamber recognizes that the continued success of the city of Tracy depends on the success of today’s young professionals. “Millennials” have become increasingly key to economic success in communities across the country. However, there has never been an engaging professional organization to address the specific needs of local young professionals in our own community. The YOUNG PROFESSIONALS OF TRACY (“YPT”) is being formed to address these needs and to support the growth of local young professionals. Offering opportunities for career development, professional networking, and community engagement, YPT seeks to integrate this new generation of leaders into our community.
The YOUNG PROFESSIONALS OF TRACY is geared towards young professionals living and working in our community who want to engage in social networking, develop professional skills, and make a positive and impactful difference in our community. YPT will be led by Chairman Dan Arriola, a 25-year-old local attorney and executive director of an educational nonprofit (West High, Class of 2007), and Vice Chair Matt Higa, a 21-year-old web designer and marketing consultant (Tracy High, Class of 2011).
YPT will formally kick off with a launch event at The Grant Bar & Lounge on Friday, October 2nd at 5:30pm. In addition to the music, food, and discounted drinks, this is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the organization and meet other young local business leaders in our community.
